Rotterdam is waiting for you
You have chosen to come to Rotterdam for your (pre)master or a bachelor study. The first thing you have to take care about is a nice and cosy student accommodation to stay in. Preferably in the city itself, close to the university and facilities, such as shops, cafes, bars and in the neighborhood of your friends.
Fully furnished and equipped student apartments
We focus on offering fully equipped student housing on our platform. Turn key: you only have to bring your personal belongings. With more than 15 years of experience, we know what internationals are looking for and what home base they need. We rent out high end student apartments to groups of international students. Fully equipped means there is a washing machine, a dishwasher, a vacuum cleaner, kitchenware and free Wi-fi. In every bedroom you have the following at your disposal:
- minimum bed of 120 cm, mattress, mattress cover, duvet (no bed sheets)
- desk and chair, desk light
- clothes closet and shelves and hangers
- comfort chair and/or sofa and side table
Socializing with your housemates
Most of the properties we offer have a shared living room. In the feedback we got from students, this was experienced very positive. When you are abroad alone, it is nice to have the opportunity at home to chat, play a game, eat together or just have a drink at the end of the day.
Maintenance and safety
We strive at keeping our properties in good condition. Therefore you can always reach a desk manager to drop your request or report defects that will be taken care of in a reasonable time. In this way you are able concentrating on your study and don’t waste time on unimportant matters. Of course cleaning the house is the groups’ responsibility.
As far as legislation on safety is concerned, you may assume, that each accommodation has a certified smoke alarm and fire extinguishers (yearly checked) as well as new certified electric wiring and heating system.
Our Landlords and ladies
We respresent property owners who want to offer value for money. So we do not represent the cheapest apartments but apartments that offer convenience, a high end finishing touch, are safe and comfortable to live in. What you see on the video’s provided is what you get. If you have questions, a desk manager can be reached easily and quickly to help you out or to solve matters regarding your home and general questions related to your housing, i.e. taxes, utilities and registration.
Your accommodation and how it works in the Netherlands
It always takes some time to get used to the house your are living in. Things work different than at home. This is the same for how things work in the Netherlands from a social perspective. To speed up this process, we made an e-book with information on basis of frequently asked questions from former students. This e-book will be send to you just before of right after your arrival in the Netherlands. Then you know what to expect and what is expected from you.
Respect is key
Our aim is to maintain an amicable and respectful relationship with serious and social tenants as we think this is the only basis for a healthy relationship. It is of importance that you as a tenant respect the values and norms of the neighborhood and the residents of the building you are living in as houses are adjacent to each other and most people prefer a quiet surrounding.
